Start A Club

Step one: You must host a Royal Family KIDS Camp for 2 years prior to starting a Royal Family KIDS Club.

Every month, the mentors and foster kids will meet together for a club meeting, field trip or party. Volunteers are needed to provide fun and support for those once-a-month sessions.

This team helps the Club Coordinator with refreshments and activities for the time together and provides extra adult support and transportation for outings.

Once you have had a successful Royal Family KIDS Camp:

1. Designate a Mentoring Director who will be the primary representative for Royal Family KIDS Club and who will match children and mentors and supervise the matches over the year.
2. Designate a Club Coordinator to organize once-a-month club event (meeting, field trip or party) with support volunteers.
3. Provide travel costs (plus lodging) for at least two leaders to attend the Mentoring Training in Santa Ana, California.
4. Recruit 12 or more mentors plus club support volunteers.
